Taylor Point

Craig is aware of how vital Taylor Point is to our community and agrees that it should be completely protected from development and preserved for public amenity.

Craig would like you to know that he will continue to explore whatever avenues he can to get this into public hands.

In 2018 Craig advocated and managed to have Government purchase Earl Hill for a conservation park, and he wants to do the same for Taylor Point.

The parliamentary petition to get Taylor Point back into public hands has been tabled, and Craig is awaiting the outcome.

Craig remains committed to exploring all avenues to secure Taylor Point for the community. He would encourage you to also contact Cairns Regional Council to voice your support for a buyback.
