Road upgrades

To date, Craig has delivered over $300 million for Barron River road upgrades including the $164 million dollar, State only funded Smithfield Bypass road.

School upgrades
Over $65 million delivered for local school upgrades including:

• over $20 million for upgrades at Smithfield State High School.

• a new $300,000 multi-purpose building at Machans Beach State School due to expanding enrolments.

Environment

Craig lobbied government to purchase the $4 million dollar Earl Hill for conservation from developers in 2018.
 

Current projects
Current projects underway include;

• $22.4 million dollar, six lane boat ramp at Yorkey's Knob, fully funded with construction underway.

• A $1 million dollar upgrade for local Animal shelter, the Young Animal Protection Society (YAPS), fully funded with planning underway.

• The $359 million Cairns Ring Road project, fully funded by the State and Commonwealth governments, master planning underway.

• The  $300 million Cairns Western Arterial Road Road (CWAR) upgrade project,  fully funded by State and Commonwealth governments, staged construction underway. Hartley Street intersection complete.

• $580,000 for refurbishments at Freshwater State School, underway.

Craig has many more projects he is lobbying for funding and has a reputation for delivering on his promises.
